En spectacle à La Ronde
Afin de célébrer l’été avec ses fans, Third Place sera en direct du plus grand terrain de jeu de Montréal le 19 août prochain. En compagnie de Mad June et The Tattoo Rebellion, le groupe nous donne rendez-vous à La Ronde, dès 16h, pour un concert haut en couleur. Tous sont invités à participer au concours “Browzad” et courir la chance de remporter des entrées-manèges pour le 19 août afin de passer la journée avec le groupe. Le grand prix comprend également une nuit à l’hôtel Mariott Château Champlain et un brunch avec les membres de Third Place.
Une application pour iPhone
À la suite du lancement en ligne de l’album Lifeland en mai dernier, le groupe Third Place continue sur sa lancée techno en offrant une application gratuite aux utilisateurs d’iPhone, iPod touch et iPad. Les admirateurs peuvent désormais échanger avec le groupe, avoir accès au calendrier de spectacles, à la musique et aux vidéos ainsi qu’à du contenu exclusif en direct de leur mobile.
Des clips
La formation a tourné un clip pour leur plus récent extrait Don’t Stop. La production de ce clip a été confiée à Radar Films et la réalisation, au cinéaste et photographe William Mazzoleni, qui a notamment réalisé le premier vidéoclip du groupe folk rock québécois Les Vestons. Un autre vidéoclip est en préparation pour un prochain extrait radio You Can’t Hurry Love, pièce popularisée par The Supremes et reprise par Phil Collins.

Vans Warped Tour
Le 14 juillet dernier, Third Place a été choisi parmi plus de 20 000 groupes à travers l’Amérique du Nord afin de performer dans le cadre du Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands au Vans Warped Tour, qui se déroulait au parc Jean-Drapeau. “Quel honneur de jouer avec All Time Low, Yellowcard, Anti Flag et New Found Glory. Plein de vieux et nouveaux bands rock et punk-rock! De faire partie de ce festival est marquant pour moi. J'me rappelle quand j'étais ti-cul, j'avais hâte d'aller voir mes groupes préférés au VANS!” raconte Nick, chanteur de la formation Third Place.

Third Place gives us La Ronde, a mobile application and two new videos!
In concert at La Ronde
To celebrate summer with their fans, Third Place will be live at Montreal’s biggest playground on August 19. In the company of Mad June and The Tattoo Rebellion, the band will be at La Ronde at 4:00pm for a high-voltage concert. Everyone’s invited to participate in the “Browzad” contest for a chance to win general admission tickets for August 19, which means spending the day with the band. The grand prize also includes a night at the Mariott Château Champlain and a brunch with the members of Third Place.
An iPhone application
After the online launch of the album Lifeland in May, Third Place continues along the techno theme by offering a free application for iPhone, iPad Touch and iPad users. Fans can now chat with band members, check their concert calendar, and have access to music, videos and exclusive content directly on their mobile device.
Two videos
The band shot a video for their latest single, Don’t Stop, which was produced by Radar Films. It was directed by the filmmaker and photographer William Mazzoleni, who also directed the first video for the Quebec folk rock group, Les Vestons. Another video is in preparation for the upcoming radio single, You Can’t Hurry Love, a song made popular by The Supremes and revived by Phil Collins.
Vans Warped Tour
On July 14, Third Place was chosen among more than 20,000 bands across North America to perform in the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands at the Vans Warped Tour that took place at Jean-Drapeau Park. “What an honour to play with All Time Low, Yellowcard, Anti-Flag and New Found Glory. So many rock and punk bands, both old and new! To be a part of this festival is a really big deal to me. I remember when I was just a kid being so excited to go see my favourite bands at Vans!” says Nick, singer of Third Place.
