Laura Sauvage présente Rubberskin, premier extrait de son album Extraordinormal

Après avoir brisé la glace avec le EP Americana Submarine à l’automne 2015, Laura Sauvage sortira son premier album complet, Extraordinormal, le 25 mars prochain.
Entourée du vétéran Dany Placard à la coréalisation et à la basse, de la force tranquille Mathieu Vezio à la batterie et aux percussions, du polyvalent Ben Bouchard aux claviers et à la prise de son et du guitar hero Olivier Langevin, Laura Sauvage s’est isolée au Studio Wild, le temps d’une semaine, pour enregistrer cet album hors du temps.
Elle nous présente aujourd’hui son premier extrait, Rubberskin :

« C’est une chanson à propos d’une madame qu’on a décoré sa front yard en Noël un automne, parce qu’elle était bitter/anglophone qui n’aimait pas les francophones. Elle était aussi une crazy cat lady avec 11 chats. Sa mullet était impeccable pis elle avait un tan de peau de poulet. On était des teenagers, j’suis pas fière de ça, à c’t’heure. En tout cas, j’ai findé out comme 1-2 ans passés qu’elle était décédée / s’est fait manger par ses chats. (I know c’est FUCKED UP). Les photos ne sont pas exagérées. Laura Sauvage introduces Rubberskin, first single of her album Extraordinormal

After breaking the ice with the EP Americana Submarine on the fall 2015, Laura Sauvage will come out her first full-length album, Extraordinormal, on March 25.
Surrounded with veteran Dany Placard, co-producer and bassist, the quiet force Mathieu Vezio on the drums and percussion, the versatile Ben Bouchard on the keyboards and on mixing and the guitar hero Olivier Langevin, Laura Sauvage was isolated for a week at the Wild Studio, to record this timeless album.
Today, she introduce us her first single Rubberskin :
Rubberskin
“ This song is about decorating a lady’s front yard when we were teenagers. We did it on a Thanksgiving night when the dollar store took out their x-mas decorations. We did it because she was bitter with everybody. She was also a crazy cat lady with 11 cats. Her mullet was impeccable and she had deep fried chicken skin. We called her the mullet lady. We weren’t nice. Anyway, I found out about a year or two ago that she died and got eaten by her cats. (I KNOW. It’s completely F*%KED UP). (The photos aren’t even exaggerated. It was really messed up).” - Laura Sauvage 
Laura Sauvage opens for Patrick Watson at the Imperial in Quebec City on March 4 and 5, and is on tour across Canada with Aidan Knight throughout April. She celebrates the release of Extraordinormal in her newly adopted hometown of Montreal, on March 22.
