The Brooks part en tournée
Après avoir lancé son second album Pain and Bliss l’automne dernier, The Brooks part maintenant en tournée pour « groover » le Québec.
En plus de leur résidence tous les mercredis au Dièse Onze à Montréal, le groupe sera en prestation dans divers festivals au cours de l’été, notamment avec ses trois présences au Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, lors duquel la formation assurera la première partie de Charles Bradley le 4 juillet prochain. The Brooks sera aussi présent au Festival de la poutine de Drummondville et au Festi Jazz international de Rimouski.

The Brooks rassemble huit musiciens de grand talent souhaitant ramener la bonne vieille musique, avec des influences contemporaines. Majoritairement pigistes, ils ont tous œuvré aux côtés d’artistes d’envergure : Maxime Bellavance (Beat Market, Yann Perreau), Alexandre Lapointe (Betty Bonifassi, Joel Campbell), Marc Bell (Bran Van 3000, Lauryn Hill), Daniel Thouin (Fred Fortin, Yannick Rieu), Philippe Look (Yann Perreau), Sébastien Grenier (Marie-Christine Depestre, Martin Levac), Hichem Khalfa (Hichem Khalfa quatuor) et Alan Prater (Michael Jackson, The Jacksons).

The Brooks On Tour

After launching their second album, Pain and Bliss, last Fall, The Brooks are setting off on a tour to groove across Quebec.
As well as their regular Wednesday night gigs at Dièse Onze in Montreal, the band will be playing at various festivals throughout the summer. You can catch one of their three shows at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, where they will be opening for Charles Bradley on July 4th. The Brooks will also be at Drummondville’s poutine festival, and at Rimouski’s Festi-Jazz International.

The Brooks consists of eight supremely talented musicians de grand talent who harken back to the glory days of music, with contemporary influences.
