L’autrice-compositrice-interprète Rosie Valland est de retour et nous dévoile ce matin une toute nouvelle chanson intitulée Attiser le dilemme. Affirmée, résolument pop, la chanson vient rendre hommage aux femmes dénonciatrices du mouvement #MeToo. La pièce est disponible dès maintenant sur toutes les plateformes d’écoute en continu.

Jérôme Beaulieu (Keys), Émile Farley (Basse), Mélissa Lavergne (Percussions), Caroline Planté (Guitare) accompagnent brillamment Rosie sur cet extrait au groove impeccable, dont elle signe la co-réalisation avec Frédéric Levac. Mike Clay (Clay & Friends) est quant à lui venu apporter sa touche aux arrangements de beatmaking.

Notre but était de trouver une façon d'imager de façon simple « l'inconfort », mais tout en montrant une certaine forme de force et de résilience. Lorsque Lawrence est arrivé avec ce concept, j'ai trouvé l'image très évocatrice. Et lorsqu’on s’y arrête, la métaphore représente bien les sentiments que je dénonce dans la chanson.

Rosie Valland est une autrice-compositrice-interprète québécoise de renom. We wanted to find a simple way to depict unease, while still conveying a certain strength and resilience. When Lawrence came up with this concept, I found the image very evocative. This is a potent metaphor for the feelings that I criticize in the song.
