To celebrate the beginning of the season, The Santa Teresa Festival, presented by Hydro-Québec, in collaboration with SiriusXM, is back with a fresh and exciting lineup. Today, the organization unveils a mainly Quebec-based lineup, with a special focus on emerging artists. The seventh edition of the festival will take place in the streets of downtown Sainte-Thérèse - one week earlier this year - from May 12th to the 14th, 2023.
Tickets for the Big Shows on the Loto-Québec Stage go on sale HERE at noon today. You can purchase daily tickets, or the three-day Big Show Pass, available at a special price for a limited time of 48 hours following this announcement. The Free Shows - also being announced today - will take place in the legendary bars of Blainville Street, at the SiriusXM Chapel, located at L'Urlu, and on the Scène Desjardins.

THE BIG SHOWS Starting Friday night, Les Shirley, Bon Enfant, and Vulgaires Machins will be hitting the main stage. Festivalgoers can expect to hear some electrifying guitar riffs. Saturday will be devoted to urban beats, with Guessmi, Peet, Emma Beko, TOBi and LaF. The day will close with Nigerian artist CKay, whose single Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah) was the first African song in history to surpass one billion streams on Spotify in 2022. Mother's Day Sunday will be a great opportunity to celebrate pop music in all its forms, with Ariane Roy, Milk & Bone, Clay & Friends, and finishing with Montreal trio Men I Trust. DJ-sets from DJ Poulet, Tallandskiinny and Blesse will kick off each of the nights.
FREE SHOWS Throughout the weekend, artists such as Naïma Frank, Naomi, Sensei H, Q052, Figure8, Roselle, Vanille, Frais Dispo, and Bønanza will be performing free shows on the Scène Desjardins. In addition, the festival will welcome to the stage the winner of the Francouvertes, as well as the winner of its OpenMicST contest.
The Sirius Chapel, located at L'Urlu, will host performances by Velours Velours, Allô Fantôme, Lysandre, Carla Chanelle, Anatole, and Pure Carrière. Fans of alternative music will find what they’re looking for with the eclectic lineup featured in the various bars of the picturesque village of Sainte-Thérèse; namely the Montecristo, the Cha Cha, the Saint-Graal and the HB : Gus Engelhorn, La Sécurité, Lysandre, Zoo Baby, No Waves, Marco Ema and more.
The Santa Teresa Festival strongly supports the new generation of Quebec musicians and stands out amongst festivals - year after year - with its cultural diversity, its variety of genres, as well as its array of venues and on-site activities. Several artists this year will be celebrating their debut at the festival and/or the inaugural live performance of new material. Some surprise announcements will also be made closer to the event date.
Among the initiatives such as the eco-responsible VERT TERESA, a shuttle service will be available to take festivalgoers to the magnificent suburb of Sainte-Thérèse, from the Berri metro station in Montreal. Details are available at Santateresafest.bus.com.
